Bringing a new process or product to market, or trialing new techniques in an existing process, involves uncertainty, tight budgets, and rigorous testing demands. That’s why Senti Solutions specializes in start-up and pilot plant equipment designed to help innovators validate processes and refine production methods without overextending resources. Our CRN and ASME-certified vessels, reactors, and control systems offer a reliable test bed for scaling up safely and efficiently. From concept to commissioning, our end-to-end services ensure your pilot line aligns with both your operational targets and regulatory requirements, setting the stage for seamless transition to full-scale production.
Key Benefits & Differentiators
At Senti Solutions, we tailor our start-up and pilot plant equipment to help emerging ventures scale up confidently and cost-effectively. Each system is engineered to adapt to shifting process strategies, meet regulatory mandates, and accelerate your path to commercial readiness. Below are the key advantages that set our solutions apart:
-
Scalable & Flexible
Modular systems that adapt to new insights or pivots in your process strategy. -
Cost-Effective Design
Efficient use of materials and automation to keep pilot-scale investments manageable. -
Accelerated Timelines
Streamlined engineering and fabrication, helping you reach milestones faster. -
Trial new techniques
Companies with established industrial processes can be hesitant to trial new techniques and technologies due to potential downtime and effects on product quality. Establishment of a separate pilot plant can allow for effective technology advancements without compromising the existing business. -
Regulatory Compliance
CRN, ASME, and other relevant standards embedded into the equipment design. -
Hands-On Support
Ongoing guidance from project planning to data collection and troubleshooting.
How It Works
Senti Solutions builds custom pilot plants that take your process from concept to proven, scalable technology. Our end-to-end approach ensures safety, efficiency, and a clear path to commercialization.
-
Initial Assessment/Experiment design
Our pilot plant process begins with a consultation to clarify your technical objectives, capacity needs, and regulatory parameters. We then propose a tailored solution, selecting appropriate materials, automation components, and safety features that align with your experimental and operational goals. -
Fabrication
Once the design is approved, we fabricate and assemble the necessary parts for pilot-scale equipment in our Canadian facility, ensuring full CRN and ASME compliance if necessary. We draw on our extensive parts inventory as well for reusable components, in order to keep pilot plant costs low -
Testing
The pilot plant is then started up in order to confirm performance and reliability under real-world conditions. The pilot can be operated at our facility, or shipped to the client facility for install and commissioning of the pilot plant. This phase is critical in determining potential bottlenecks, scalability issues, and other challenges new processes may encounter in a commercial or industrial application. -
Reporting
Our team applies the lessons learned throughout the design, fabrication and testing phases in order to make recommendations for future pilot projects and/or full-scale production. These recommendations are delivered in a report which will provide a clear roadmap for success in the next steps of the project.
